Enrolling TK-9th grade

Fall 2023!

We are nature and project based, inspired by Waldorf education. We foster a love of learning and teach to each child's learning style. We empower critical thinking and emphasize old fashion values, morals and manners.

Classes start September 5th! Email to start the enrollment process today!

Because children grow up, we think a child's purpose is to grow up. But a child's purpose is to be a child.

Lower Grades Teacher/K-9 Curriculum Specialist/Director/Owner, Wendi Zane

I am a Credentialed Teacher with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I 've spent years studying and working in a Waldorf Inspired Public Charter school setting and have my one year Foundations Certificate from Building Bridges, Antioch. I have spent many summers in Art of Teaching programs, including: Preschool, First and Second grades and am a mother of a 15 year old Waldorf student. I've spent my life working with children of all ages.  I love the outdoors, paddle boarding and collecting baseballs! I will provide rhythm, beauty and foster a love of learning.

4th and 5th Grades Teacher/Co-Director, Brian Heise

I'm a natural teacher. My philosophy is centered in having balance as a student and a person. I truly love to teach, and I feel very lucky to have worked with 1000's of students and athletes in my schools/teams over the years.

I am a Waldorf certified teacher with over eight years teaching experience at a Waldorf inspired charter school and over 25 years experience as a swimming coach. I have a B.A. in Social Science. I'm a father of two grown children (both were k-8 Waldorf students). I have a love of nature, family, nutrition, yoga and Crossfit, but my inquisitive nature leads me in many directions.

My curriculum is traditional: getting to know your student and learning with them. Ultimately, it's about learning how to learn and helping students find themselves and their purpose_ nothing matters more than knowing who you are.

Kinder-First Grade Teacher, Audrey Mackinnon

I grew up in a Waldorf school, Kindergarten through eighth grade. I have  a year and a half of experience teaching horseback riding lessons to children ages 3-15. I have led over a dozen girl scout troops getting their horsemanship badges and helped teach summer camp for three years. I have experience babysitting and helping at multiple schools. I enjoy outdoors, especially when animals are involved and have a passion for teaching children.

Third Grade Teacher, Erin Whitehead

I am a K-12 Waldorf graduate, currently continuing my education at community college studying psychology. I have worked as a camp counselor and have grown to enjoy working with children, especially in the Waldorf environment. I love nature and being outside, which is why I spent the summer as a whitewater raft guide, sharing with kids the great outdoors, as well as how to advocate for our wildlife and rivers. I enjoy reading and writing and art of many kinds, anything to keep my hands busy.
